Task
Build a native macOS app for trying Apple’s own Foundation Models, both on device and in Private Cloud Compute.
Process
I defined the product and the interface: a chat sidebar, an inspector, a glass composer, an adaptive icon from Icon Composer. Development was with AI agents (OpenCode, Codex), then a UX audit and a redesign based on it.
Result
Release v3.1 shipped with a .dmg for macOS 27. The app shows streaming replies, the real token count, the model’s reasoning and structured output, and it works with App Intents and Siri.
